GPS/Bluetooth NMEA2000
Veratron GO is a product family that includes 3 versions, namely Veratron GO (GPS), Veratron GO Data (Bluetooth) and Veratron GO Plus+ (GPS and Bluetooth). These 3 devices have the same appearance, but their functions are unmistakable. There are two main differences to note, one is the NMEA certified GPS receiver and the other is the Bluetooth Gateway certified NMEA receivers.
Veratron GO is a GPS/GLONASS/Galileo antenna in a compact package. It is NMEA 2000® certified and features easy plug-and-play installation that requires no configuration. Built for marine use, extreme weather conditions and continuous outdoor exposure, this small, IPX7-rated, 12V DC powered device connects to the NMEA network via a standard 5-pin NMEA Micro-C M12 connector. Accurate to 2,5 meters, the small instrument packs a big punch with 72 channels and a 10 Hz refresh rate. It also boasts a time to first fix of 30 seconds from cold start.
Veratron GO Data includes a Bluetooth Low Energy certified NMEA 2000 gateway that allows all yacht data to be transmitted to a smartphone or tablet. With a 2,4 GHz band and 40 channels, it has a maximum connection range of 160 meters and up to 7 simultaneous connections are possible. Data is protected, as device pairing is supported via a passkey. Around 50 types of data are supported, such as engine RPM, coolant pressure, rudder angle or battery status, all of which are now available on your smartphone via the Veratron app.
Veratron GO Plus+ combines all the above functions in one device.
